Join Mulungu - Making a Difference in Indigenous Health

Mulungu Aboriginal Corporation Primary Health Care Service (Mulungu) is committed to enhancing the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals by providing culturally appropriate primary health care services.

As a part of our Social Services team, you will play a crucial role in improving access to social support services that cater to the unique needs of Indigenous communities.

Your Role as a Youth Wellbeing Connector

As a Youth Wellbeing Connector at Mulungu, you will work closely with vulnerable children and young people, assessing their wellbeing and developmental needs. Your responsibilities will include engaging with adolescents, collaborating with various stakeholders, and advocating for positive outcomes for those in need.

You will ensure the delivery of high-quality, culturally appropriate services while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to relevant legislation. Building partnerships with key services and programs will be essential in addressing the needs of individuals and families effectively.

Your Profile

Join our team if you have a Certificate or Diploma in Welfare Studies, Bachelor of Social Work, or equivalent qualification. If you are passionate about making a difference and willing to work towards achieving the required qualifications, we want to hear from you.

• Experience in case planning and working with vulnerable populations
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks in the social services sector
• A commitment to delivering culturally appropriate services and supporting Indigenous communities

You will 

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander 
• Possess a current Drivers Licence 
• Possess a current Blue Card 
• Minimum certificate 3 in Youth Work or equivalent.
