Key Responsibilities and Opportunities

As a Safe Families Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in:

• Providing expert guidance on domestic and family violence awareness to support staff.
• Conducting risk assessments and safety planning for families in need.
• Collaborating with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Engaging in local network meetings and initiatives focused on addressing domestic and family violence.

Your Profile

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Degree level qualifications in social or behavioral sciences or relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience in working with domestic and family violence issues.
• A passion for supporting Indigenous communities and promoting cultural safety.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Blue Card 
• Valid Driver's Licence
