Your Role in the Community

The Community Liaison Officer plays an essential role within our health services team, working diligently to enhance service engagement in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. You will establish and maintain meaningful networks that foster collaboration and support, ensuring our services are accessible and effective.

As a proactive communicator and researcher, you'll identify community demographics, conduct promotional outreach, and gather vital data to inform service improvements. This is not just a job; it’s an opportunity to make a lasting difference in people's lives.

We are searching for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about community engagement and health services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. If you have the following attributes, we want to hear from you!

  • Previous experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
  • Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander 
  • Possession of a current ‘C’ Class Driver’s License (Queensland).
  • Ability to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card and comply with Federal Police Check.
  • A commitment to promoting workplace equality, health, and safety.
