Key Responsibilities and Opportunities
As a Safe Families Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in:
- Providing expert guidance on domestic and family violence awareness to support staff.
- Conducting risk assessments and safety planning for families in need.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
- Engaging in local network meetings and initiatives focused on addressing domestic and family violence.
Your Profile
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Degree level qualifications in social or behavioral sciences or relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in working with domestic and family violence issues.
- A passion for supporting Indigenous communities and promoting cultural safety.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Blue Card
- Valid Driver's Licence
